Shadow-Strike was a predator bow of simple design. It was said to be able to allow its user to kill prey as quickly as a cold night chilled any exposed human skin.
During the Viking expansion into Anglo-Saxon England in the 9th century, the bow was made available to the shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan through an Animus modification by Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relieved her memories in 2020.[1]
