Seraffo was a Templar agent during the time of the Ottoman Empire, who fell out of practice with his patients and killed more than he helped, with a mercury solution of his own making.
In 2012, his genetic memories were used by Abstergo Industries, for the training of their Animus recruits, under the name of the Ottoman Doctor.
