The Self-Loading Pistol Model 1868 is a semi-automatic pistol first produced in 1868. One of the most powerful and accurate sidearms of its time, it was mechanically sophisticated for its time, a testament of the Industrial Revolution.
In 1868, the Assassins Jacob and Evie Frye received this weapon as a gift from Sergeant Frederick Abberline of the Metropolitan Police Service for helping him arrest all of the Blighters on his list.

Trivia
- The Self-Loading Pistol Model 1868 is based on the Bergmann 1896 pistol making its inclusion in Assassin's Creed: Syndicate, a game set in 1868, anachronistic. However, the model's year of production was changed to 1868 as though to rectify the anachronism.
