The Seaside Altar was a ruined altar in the Mount Dirfi region on the island of Euboea, Greece. Located to the northeast of the mountain, it was occupied by bandits.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the place, killed the bandits, found the ancient tablet and looted their valuables.[1]
