Trivia
- Different countries made a variety of basket-hilted swords. The Scottish had the basket-hilted broadsword, the Swedish had the faloon, and the English had the mortuary sword, but one thing the all had in common was speed, agility, hacking ability, and a tip that could easily pierce armor or flesh.
- This sword was used by Rodrigo Borgia in Assassin's Creed 2 during a battle with Ezio in 1499.
