Salvador Isabelino del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús Allende Gossens (26 June 1908 – 11 September 1973) was a Chilean medic and is generally considered the first democratically elected Marxist to become President of Chile.
At the end of Allende's tenure as President, the Templars wanted to create a dependent working class in Chile, but Allende's popularity and the communist government opposed this plan. The Templars organized a military coup to overthrow him and install a Templar-controlled military junta in Chile, with their puppet, general Augusto Pinochet, as the country's dictator. Masterminded by Henry Kissinger, the coup proved successful, and Allende was killed during the plot.
