Salvador Isabelino del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús Allende Gossens (Spanish pronunciation: [salβaˈðoɾ aˈʝende ˈɣosens]; 26 June 1908 – 11 September 1973) was a Chilean medic and is generally considered the first democratically elected Marxist to become president of Chile.
Biography
During Allende's reign, the Templars organized a military coup to overthrow Allende and install general Augusto Pinochet, a member of the Templar Order, as the dictator of Chile. The coup was masterminded by Henry Kissinger. Allende was targeted because he was too popular with the people, which was at opposition with the Templar goal to create a dependent working class.[1]
