Wooden statue of Livertin

Saint Livertin was canonized as the patron saint of headaches, and was believed to have been able to cure them, as well as stress.

During the Golden Age of Piracy, the pirate and Assassin Edward Kenway recovered a wooden statue of Saint Livertin in the West Indies.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

The statue seen in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is based on an 16th or 18th century statue of the saint, holding his head.[2]
