Saint Lewinna's Church

Saint Lewinna's Church was an Anglo-Saxon church named after Lewinna in Guildford, Suthsexe.

History

In 875, the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan met with Ubba Ragnarsson at Saint Lewinna's Church to discuss and later execute their attack on Guildford's grain silos for Fulke.[1] Through her travels, Eivor also circulated around the town of Guildford and inspected the church. Breaking through the church's tower, Eivor made her way through locked doors and movable blockades to find a chest behind a door. Opening the chest, Eivor recovered the Mentor's Robes and soon left the church.[2]
