Saint George's Tower Shield was a heavy shield believed to have been owned by Saint George of Lydda. Local legend held that the dents pocketing the shield were made by the fabled dragon's teeth during its fatal battle, while skeptics believed it was more likely to be from blocking arrows.

During her travels, the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan acquired this shield from a chest while raiding along the River Exe.[1]
