Saint George's Great Helm was a helmet believed to have been used by Saint George of Lydda against the fabled dragon. Local legend held that the dents pocketing the helmet were from the many battles George fought in.

During her travels, the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan acquired this helm from a chest while raiding along the River Dee.[1] She would also acquire the other pieces belonging to the same set of armor.[2]

Behind the scenes

The locations where players get the pieces of gear are randomized, appearing at any large military installations along the river, like Deebury. This is a departure from the other gear pieces in the main game, which are tied to specific chests in specific locations.
