Aquilius was a Roman Assassin and was an ancestor of Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad.
Trivia
- Aquila is a constellation which in Latin means "eagle", in the same context as Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad and Ezio Auditore da Firenze's first names also pertaining to eagles in their native heritages. Also, the constellation of Aquila's brightest star is named Altair.
- In his appearance in the French Graphic Novel he presents himself as "Aquilus, Son of Lucius" before he is stabbed in the shoulder and knocked out.
