Róthásæt

Róthásæt was the arena near Hel's throne in Helheimr, Niflheimr.

History

In Eivor Varinsdottir's visions of Odin's time in Niflheim, the Æsir lord fought through Helheim's draugrs and made his way to confront Hel. With her hound Garmr, she confronted and fought against Havi. After a lengthy fight, Havi bested Hel, who revealed that he has been here before and that his memory had been previously wiped multiple times. She reveals her alliance with Baldr before having Havi talk with his son through their consciousnesses through her roots.[1]

Behind the scenes

After a successful run, subsequent times Havi bested Hel lead the lord to be dragged down by Hel's roots and sent back to his camp.[1]
