Running Scared is a memory from Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.

Description

Ezio approaches a courtesan who tells him that even though he banished her from the brothel, Giuletta was still giving away secrets to their enemies; this time to a Spanish ambassador. The courtesan asked Ezio to scare Giuletta, thus making her flee to the ambassador, after which Ezio would have a chance to strike him down.

Ezio quickly locates Giuletta and scares her to make flee to the ambassador. He follows the fleeing courtesan and even though she receives help from the nearby guards, Ezio manages to tail her to the Spanish ambassador. After that, he swiftly kills him and warns Giuletta to stay out of Rome.

Dialogue

• Courtesan: Ezio, you banished that spy Giuletta from the brothel, but she continues to give secrets to our enemies. A Spanish ambassador this time, her lover. We know he sells secrets to the church. Giuletta fears you now. Use that. Send her right to the arms of her Spaniard and kill him.

Ezio locates Giuletta.

• Ezio: Giuletta, I know of your treachery.
• Giuletta: No! Please! Ezio! I can explain!

Giuletta flees and calls for help

• Giuletta: Help me!

Ezio manages to lose the guards and continues to tail Giuletta. The run into another group of guards.

• Giuletta: Somebody! Stop him!

Ezio loses the guards after him and proceeds to chase Giuletta. Finally, they reach the ambassador and Ezio kills him.

• Giuletta: Please....I had no choice!
• Ezio: Leave Roma. I don't want to see you here again.

Outcome

Ezio kills the Spanish ambassador and Giuletta leaves Rome.

Trivia

• To achieve full synchronization, Ezio must only kill the ambassador.
