The River Erriff is a river that crosses Ireland.

History

Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan found a clue relating the River to Lugh's legacy while raiding River Berbha. She brought this clue to Vagn, who marked the river on her map and warned her about the champion that lived at the end of the river.[1] She eventually found Lugh's Greaves, Chest Armor and Bracers inside fortifications along the river.[2] At a druid location along the Erriff, she fought the river champion and recovered Lugh's spear from him.[3]

Behind the scenes

River Erriff is a playable location introduced in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. Originally not available in the base game, the location was added through the River Raids update released on 6 September 2021.
