Raffaello Sanzio da Urbino (28 March or 6 April 1483 - 6 April 1520), later known commonly as Raphael, was an Italian painter and architect of the High Renaissance. Along with Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci, he was considered one of the great masters of the time.
In 1500, the Assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze bought several paintings (listed below) created by Raphael for his hideout on Tiber Island.[1]
