Rajasthan is a state in northwest India.
History[edit | edit source]
At some point in ancient history, a city in Rajasthan was irradiated by a Piece of Eden.[1]
In June 1576, the Battle of Gogunda took place, pitting Mughal emperor Akbar against Rajput chief Pratap Singh. The Mughals sought to put down one of the last independent areas not under their control in the region of Rajasthan and emerged victorious, though Pratap Singh continued his resistance from the surrounding hills and refused to recognize Mughal rule until several years after his army was defeated.[2]
