Queens is a borough of New York City in the state of New York, United States.
History
In 1989, the Hassan family had settled there after immigrating from Egypt, later becoming US citizens through the process of naturalization. Layla, the daughter of the family, spent her childhood in the neighborhood streets of Queens, learning to ride a bicycle there.[1]
On 16 December 2012, while staying in a cheap motel in the Queens neighborhood of Astoria, the Assassin Desmond Miles recorded a voice memo for his father, William. He recorded it alone and detailed his feelings as an attempt at bridging the gap between his father and himself. He also recounted his time with Clay Kaczmarek inside the Black Room.[2]
