Quartier di Bartolomeo d'Alviano

The Quartier di Bartolomeo d'Alviano was the residence of Bartolomeo d'Alviano and was located in the Castello District of Venice.

History

In 1486, the barracks was raided by soldiers under the command of Silvio Barbarigo. Bartolomeo was captured and guards were positioned at the gates of the residence.

However, Bartolomeo was liberated from prison by Ezio Auditore. Accompanied by Ezio, Bartolomeo overpowered the guards at the barracks and recaptured his residence, after which groups of mercenaries could be hired in the courtyard.

Bartolomeo later coordinated with Ezio and his mercenaries within his barracks to plan their assault on the Arsenale di Venezia.
