Ezio approaches Piramide Cestia

The Piramide Cestia (English: Pyramid of Cestius) is one of the locations of Rome featuring in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. Next to the Pyramid is the entrance to the Catacombe di Roma, a Lair of Romulus.

History

Inspired by the Egyptian Pyramids, the Piramide Cestia was built in 18 BC - 12 BC as a tomb for Cauis Cestius, a magistrate and member of one of the four great religious corporations at Rome.

Trivia

The Pyramid can be bought as a Landmark by Ezio, and it counts towards the rebuilding of Rome.
It is steeper than the Pyramids of Giza, as its construction plans were based on incorrect drawings of the Great Pyramids.
The Pyramid can be bought as a territory in Assassin's Creed: Project Legacy.
