A Ptolemaic soldier

The Ptolemaic army was the army of the Ptolemaic Kingdom, a Makedonian dynasty which ruled Egypt from 305 BCE to 30 BCE.

Soldier Types

Regulars

Regulars are the most common soldiers in Ptolemaic army, They wield varities of weapons inculding Sword,Shield,Bow and Spear However they are easily killed by skilled inviduals like The Medjay, Bayek of Siwa who killed countless of them in his Vengeance Journey.

Archers

Archers are Soldiers who attack enemies at range with Bow and were usually stationed on Walls and Towers, They always tries to keep distance from enemies by moving away, However should the enemies get close to them they can also bash enemies with their bow.

Brutes

Brutes are Large Sized Soldier who wield Blunt Weapons and can take alot of damage before going down, some of them are heavliy armored and armed with Tower Shield that cannot be easily broken.

Predators

Predators are Soldiers that can easily dodge enemies attack and utlized smoke bomb and other tools, and usually armed with Dual-Blades, However they still wasn't fast enough to dodge arrows. They can be tell apart from other soldiers by their hood.

Supers

Supers are most skilled soldiers in Ptolemaic army and are usually assign to be Fort Commander, Their Fighting Skill are Fomidable even to Bayek of Siwa They can perform unblockable Thrust Attack where they jump into an air and violently Pierce their sword into Enemy, they can also Dodge attack like Predators.

Tactics

Regulars

They could not really do anything apart from normal attack However Shield or Spear Wielding can perform Heavy Attack with Red Effect. You could just dodge their attack and wait for them to finish attacking and then you can just combo them to death or If you feeling Stylish to can also Parry them.

Archers

Just go right in and send them to Field of Reeds, Just watch out for their Bashing attack since it can break your Shield, And when they are at distance try to quickly move into them by spamming dodge foward and dodge their arrows should they fire it, Or you could just shoot them with your own Bow from the distance.

Brutes

Focus on Dodging and since they move very slow they are good practice dummies for your Bow, The one with Tower Shield can only be broken with Charged Heavy Attack so you should get that ability first, Or if you somehow didn't unlock it yet just try get behind them can give them a good backstab. And when they start smashing their own shield they are about to charge in and bash with you with their Shield so Watch out.

Predators

They will almost always dodge your attack so don't try to attack them and they can also kick you if you keep holding up your shield, And they can also use smoke bomb to stun you, The Best way to kill them is shoot them with your Bow, Warrior and Light Bows are best for taking care of them.

Supers

Theirs Shield cannot be broken with your normal Heavy Attack even though they aren't even that big, Try to use Charged Heavy Attack on them for easy Ground Stab and They can also Perform Thrust Attack with Yellow Effect which can only be Dodge, The Easiest Way is just use your Blue Overpower Attack which can usually kill them instantly. Also their Red Effect Heavy Attack can actually Be Parry so you can try that.
