Aokura Shrine

Aokura Shrine is a Shinto shrine situated in the city of Asago in northern Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. During the Sengoku period, it was located in the region of Takeda in western Tamba Province. In 1582, the Kakushiba ikki members Fujibayashi Naoe and Yasuke visited the shrine, climbed a cliff nearby, and surveyed the land from atop a tree.[1]
