Pointing Fingers was a virtual representation of one of Ezio Auditore's genetic memories, relived by Desmond Miles in 2012 through the Animus.
Description
A thief was waiting for Ezio Auditore, and when the two met, the thief explained to Ezio that they had figured out a way to damage relations with the Borgia and the Cento Occhi, and asked Ezio to kill a Borgia guard named Galvano, as the guard and a Cento Occhi member, Vincenzo, were on bad terms with each other.
After assassinating Galvano and looting him of a personal belonging, Ezio was required to plant it on Vincenzo in order to frame him for the murder of Galvano. Once Ezio had gotten a suitable distance away, he overheard the arrival of the Borgia and their search of Vincenzo, until they found the personal belonging which had been looted from Galvano's dead body. Gaining the evidence they required, the Borgia took Vincenzo away despite his protests of innocence, in turn creating conflict with the Cento Occhi and the Borgia.
Dialogue

- Borgia Captain: Come with me.
