Pointing Fingers is a memory from Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.

Description

A thief was waiting for Ezio, and when they met the thief explained to Ezio that they had figured out a way to damage relations with the Borgia and the Cento Occhi. Ezio was required to kill a Borgia guard named Galvano. After looting him of a personal belonging, he was required to plant it on a Cento Occhi member known as Vincenzo. Once Ezio had gotten away, the Borgia arrived and searched Vincenzo for any signs of murder and they found the personal belonging which had been looted from Galvano's dead body. They took Vincenzo away, creating conflict with the Cento Occhi and the Borgia.

Dialogue

Thief: The Cento Occhi have employed a town scribe, Vincenzo. Despite his eloquence, he often fights with a Borgia guard named Galvano. We now have a chance to damage relations between our two enemies, find Galvano, kill him, take something personal from his body, plant it on Vincenzo, my brothers and I will ensure the Borgia hear what they want to hear.

When Galvano is killed and the evidence is planted on Vincenzo.

Borgia Captain: Vincenzo, Galvano's been murdered.

Vincenzo: What business is that of mine?

Borgia Captain: You two were on bad terms, I have to search you.

Vincenzo: Fine, if you must, it will only serve to exonerate me.

Borgia Captain searches Vincenzo and finds one of Galvano's personal belongings.

Vincenzo: What is that?

Borgia Captain: Come with me.

Outcome

With the Borgia guard dead, conflict between Cento Occhi and the Borgia was assured.
