Phidias' Workshop was a workshop in Athens which belonged to Phidias, a sculptor and friend of the statesman Perikles. It was where he spent most of his time working prior to fleeing from Athens during the Peloponnesian War.
In 431 BCE, the misthios Kassandra visited the workshop on the request of Perikles to check on Phidias. After getting past the guards, Kassandra spoke to Phidias, learning that he was being hunted by the Cult of Kosmos. Before leaving, Phidias requested Kassandra to meet him at the Port of Piraeus so she could escape from the city.[1]
