The Phalanx Spear was a long spear named after its use in the phalanx, a military formation in which the soldiers were armed with these spears along with shields.
The spear was made available to the Spartan misthios Kassandra via an Animus modification by the Assassin Layla Hassan, who relived the former's memories.[1]
