The Persian Cliff

The Persian Cliff was a cliff face within the Occupied Forest of Tripodiskos in Megaris, Greece.

It was named for the nephew of Darius I of Persia, who attempted to kill the Megarians but ended up shooting his arrows into the cliff instead.[1]

The Spartan misthios Kassandra visited the place during the Peloponnesian War.[1]
