The Persian Assassins were a branch of Assassins located in the Persian Empire during at least the 5th century B.C.E.
In 465 B.C.E., the Persian Assassin Darius assassinated the Persian King Xerxes I, who was supported by the Templars,[1] which was the first usage of the Assassins' iconic hidden blade. This made Darius one of the most renowned Assassins in the Order.[2]
