The Persian Bay was the easternmost region of Samos, Greece.
During the 5th century BCE, the Persian Bay was notable for housing the small settlement of Pythagoreion in its southern area and the Kazania Fishing Village. The misthios Kassandra explored the region during the Peloponnesian War.[1]
