Perotto Calderon was a member of the Italian Assassin Order during the Renaissance.
Perotto was romanticaly involved with Lucrezia Borgia, daughter of Rodrigo Borgia: the Grand Master of the Templar Order.
He was working for the Order as courier for the Borgia when he fell for Lucrezia. During their time together Lucrezia got pregnant from Perotto and a boy was born, but the baby is born malformed and according to a doctor is likely to die in a few days.
Not being able to hide such a secret as a child, Perotto is found thrown into jail. With the help of Giulia, Lucrezia's maid, and her brother he is able to flee, taking his son with him, out of Rome. It would be impossible to see Lucrezia ever again.
Rodrigo Borgia founds out quickly of his escape and sends his soldiers after him, but they're soon overtaken by Perotto's trap.
He decides that the only thing that could heal his son was an artifact that was in possession of the Order, a certain Shroud.
He then heads to Agnadello, the suppose place where the Shroud was hidden but his surprised by his own Brothers in the way, the Order. Leaving him no choice, he fights them and in the end winning the fight.
Reaching the place he finds the Shroud and asks her to heal his boy. After the process, the boy seems to be healed, but is not certain. He then puts back the Shroud in his box and leaves.
