The Paul Revere House was a residence in Boston and the home of Paul Revere during the American Revolutionary War.
Built in 1680, Paul Revere lived in the house with his family from 1770 to 1800. On occasions when he left to participate in the revolutionary war, Paul left the house under the care of his eldest son, who prevented the house form being chopped down for firewood.[1]
In 1905, Paul's great-grandson John P. Reynolds Jr bought the house and converted it into a museum. It currently is the oldest building in the city.[1]
