The Paladin Hood was a cloak that the Viking jarlskona Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan retrieved in late 9th century West Francia. Alongside the Paladin Hood, Eivor claimed the rest of its set from her travels in Francia.

During her time in Francia, Eivor ventured into the settlement of Lisieux, in Melunois. Eivor probed the area and noticed a crypt, but it was locked. Searching the area, Eivor found the key on top of the village's church. Opening the door, Eivor looked around the crypt and noticed a hole behind a Bellatores Dei banner. Going through the hole, Eivor found another locked door. Investigating the area, Eivor found that this key was being held by one of the villagers. Stealing the key, Eivor raced back to the door and unlocked it. Eivor entered the room and found a chest, left of a headless victim, probably of "deliverance." Eivor opened the chest and garnered the Paladin Hood.[1]
