Assassin's Creed II

Throughout Assassin's Creed II, Ezio is able to purchase famous Renaissance artwork from art merchants, all of which are displayed in Ezio's Villa in Monteriggioni. Many of these masterful paintings are created by Leonardo da Vinci. When visiting Ezio's home, he can study each painting for a close up view and a brief biography of the painting's history. Collecting these paintings is also mandatory if the player wishes to restore Ezio's Villa to its full glory.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

The Painting Gallery in Ezio's Hideout on Tiber Island, just like the gallery in the Villa Auditore, contains both purchased paintings, as well as the portraits of primary assassination targets. All purchasable paintings were painted by Raphael.
