Onimaru

The Onimaru was a short sword hailing from far eastern Asia.

Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relieved Eivor Varinsdottir's memories, modified her Animus and included this sword as part of the shieldmaiden's arsenal.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

Historically in real-life, Onimaru is one of the Tenka-Goken ("Five [Greatest] Swords under Heaven") which is currently in the possession of the Imperial Household Agency. It's name in Japanese means "Demon".
