The Oneida (English: People of the Standing Stone) are an Iroquois nation, being referred to as the Younger Brothers in the Haudenosaunee Grand Council along with the Cayuga.[1]
History
During the Seven Years' War, several villages supported the British Empire. One of these was Orenda. In retaliation the Assassins occupied the village and held their clan mother, Onatah, hostage.
