Animus data fragments were fragments spread throughout the city of Constantinople and Cappadocia during Desmond Miles' Animus sessions. Collecting certain amount of fragments would unlock narrow doors on Animus Island allowing Desmond to witness several moments of his life.[1]
Trivia
- There is an Trophy/Achievement for collecting all Animus data fragments, called "Capped" (Bronze Trophy; 20G).
- The Animus data fragments resemble the loading symbol from Assassin's Creed II and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.
