Nicolas Viel (died 25 June 1625) was a French Recollect missionary.
During the early 17th century, Nicolas was part of Samuel de Champlain's expedition to the French colony of Canada to establish and further religious life.[1]
Trivia
In The Quebec Caper, the Assassins misdated Viel's death in 1925, three centuries after his real death.
