Niamh was a Celtic witch-warrior and member of the Hidden Ones who lived in Mercia during the late 9th century.[1]

Biography

As a witch-warrior, Niamh defended her people from Viking raiders during the Viking expansion. In 878, Niamh learned of the Hidden Ones and their attempt at establishing a foothold in Lunden. Determined to protect what remained of her homeland, she infiltrated them, becoming a Hidden One herself. At one point, she learned the Hidden Ones had stolen an artifact sacred to her people and she cast aside alliances and friendships with them.[1]
