Nemea is an ancient site in Greece.

Best known as the home of the mythical Nemean Lion, slain by the hero Herakles as part of his labours, Nemea was formerly considered part of Argolis, but later part of Korinthia.[1] The site was also known for its games, in which Kyros of Zarax participated during the 6th century BCE, gaining fame and catching the eye of Milo, a man whom Kyros later apprenticed.[2]
