Nefertari (died c. 1255 BCE) was queen and wife to Ramesses II, one of the greatest and most celebrated pharaohs of Egypt.
More than 1000 years after hers and her husband's deaths, after Ramesses was seemingly brought back from the dead, Nefertari manifested as a Ba. In 38 BCE, she approached the Mentor of the Hidden Ones, Bayek, in her husband's tomb, requesting his help to bring peace to her husband's soul. She guided Bayek through a passage connecting the tomb to Heb Sed, Ramesses' aspect of the afterlife.
