Naval convoys were water-based shipments found in the West Indies and North Atlantic in the 18th century.

Convoys consisted of a frigate escorted by two schooners. The shipments were often hijacked by the pirate Edward Kenway,[1] as well as the Assassin-turned-Templar Shay Cormac.[2]
