Muhammad IV was the Hafsid Caliph of Ifriqiya, reigning from 1494 to 1526.

In 1511, Muhammad IV accepted bribes from the Templars to allow only Templar-approved merchants to bring goods into the markets of Tunis. However, these bribes were stolen by Ottoman Assassins sent from Constantinople by Ezio Auditore da Firenze, and put to other uses.
