The Militarized Temple of Megara was the main temple within the Sanctuary of Athena in the town of Megara in Megaris, Greece.
During the Peloponnesian War, the misthios Kassandra infiltrated the temple, killing the captain of the soldiers posted there, and claiming their valuables. She also eliminated Hyrkanos the Cunning, a mercenary hired by Athens to aid them against the Spartans in the region. [1]
