The Militarized Temple of Megara was the main temple within the Sanctuary of Athena in the town of Megara in Megaris, Greece.
During the Peloponnesian War the Spartan misthios Kassandra infiltrated the temple, killing the captain of the soldiers posted there, and claiming their valuables. She also found the mercenary Athens' forces had hired to help them, Hyrkanos the Cunning. [1]
