Mildberg, also called Mildberg the Miracle Legs, was an Anglo-Saxon girl living in Wincestre circa 877.
Biography
As a child, Mildberg loved to run and admired Greek hero Philippides, wishing to become the fastest messenger to ever live. In order to train, she would challenge others for races. She once challenged Eivor Varinsdottir, who ended up besting her. Mildberg was glad to finally have a real challenge and gifted Eivor with her diary, "The Many Wondrous Runnings of the Galloping Miracle Legs" for her troubles.[1]
