The Master Templar was a rank achieved by members of the Templar Order. They were the equivalent to their counterparts in the Assassin Order.

Master Templars in modern times were allowed into the Inner Sanctum of the Templar Order and involve themselves in their affairs, joining the Operations division of Abstergo Industries.
