Andalusia (Spanish: Andalucía) is an autonomous community in southern Spain.
In 1492, Aguilar de Nerha was initiated into the Spanish Brotherhood of Assassins. Later, the Mentor of the Brotherhood, Benedicto, led a team of Assassins to a rural village in Andalusia to rescue Ahmed of Granada, the son of Sultan Muhammad XII from the Spanish Templars. The Assassins were initially successful, but were eventually overwhelmed by the Templars. Many of the Assassins were killed and Benedicto, Aguilar and María were captured and brought to Seville.[1]
In 2016, at the meeting with the Council of Elders, the CEO of Abstergo Industries Alan Rikkin reported their discovery to Ellen Kaye. They found Callum Lynch, a descendant of Aguilar, an Assassin active in Andalusia during the 15th century.[1]
