Mariwig was an Frankish soldier and subordinate to the Bellatores Dei's leader Isidore Mercator.

Biography

Under Mercator's orders, Mariwig and other soldiers were sent to investigate the Champlieu Ruins, Gisacum Ruins, and Diodurum Ruins and search for any artifacts or valuables hidden within the ruins. Unknown to Mariwig, the ruins were previously used by the Frankish Hidden Ones, who still had few members operating in West Francia. Mariwig sent a letter to a captain at Champlieu Ruins of further instructions, however the captain and his soldiers were killed by a "hidden figure" before they could find the ruins' entrance.[1]
