Anastasius I Dicorus (Latin: Flavius Anastasius Augustus; c. 431 – 9 July 518) was Byzantine Emperor from 491 until his death.

During his reign, Anastasius built the Cistern of Mocius on the Seventh Hill of Constantinople.[1]
