Mallet of Everlasting Flame

The Mallet of Everlasting Flame was a legendary flanged mace obtained by the Spartan misthios Kassandra during the Peloponnesian War

Some said that the hammer burned perpetually, and others claimed it had been pulled from the heart of a volcano. Whatever the truth the flame-headed mallet was in the possession of a Greek mercenary, dubbed "the Smoldering" due to the mallet she carried during the 5th century BCE. At some point during the Peloponnesian War Kassandra defeated the mercenary and claimed the mallet for herself.[1]
